Facilities at the hut include, fresh water supply direct from the hills to the rear of the hut, ladies and gents flushing toilets, full electric lighting/heating and a fully equipped kitchen.
Although the facilities are simple compared to modern homes they are well up to the standards of other mountain huts, these are very much appreciated by the members and others (including groups). The main aim is to provide a base for anyone wishing to get away from it all and enjoy yourselves. The hut offers free electric heating and hot water boilers above all three inside sinks. The bunks are three high with mattresses, also pillows and blankets are provided and kept in a storage box in the loft space. Bring your own sleeping bags.
Directly behind the hut is Pen Helgi Du and the Carnedds , over the valley is the Capel Curig ridge of the Glyders, with Moel Siabod towering over it, to the right is Tryfan with Adam and Eve watching over the hut, Y Garn and Bethesda ridge of the Glyders are in clear view.
